subject: Personalized Glasses As Symbols Of Success [print this page]

So you have arrivedSo you have arrived. In this sense arrived in terms of career or some personal goal of a milestone achievement and you want to commemorate the moment by buying something special, something personal. Some people celebrate success by having parties or buying something as some sort of a pat on the back for themselves. Some people buy something to make the memory last forever not only for them but for others. And this is where the role of personalized glasses comes in.

Just like any ordinary drinking glass, personality and uniqueness is what sets apart a set of personalized glasses. They are usually harbour elegant designs like monograms or other intricate designs including corporate logos etched onto their surface.

Two processes are usually involved in the markings of a personal glass being either hand engraving or satin etching. Hand engraving which produces deeper cuts and detailed incisions is usually done for monograms. Satin etching on the other hand involves sand blasting the glass surface, and this is done usually for other designs, more frequently when the design is a corporate logo of some sort.

But personalizing your success on your drinking glass does not stop there. The decision has to go further on really putting a mark on your achievement. Apart from choosing what type of etching you need to be done, the next decision will be to choose what type of glass you will etch onto. And the two main choices for this is will it be crystal or plain glass. Definitely the first choice is the best but it will also cost you.

Crystal glasses are more expensive than ordinary glass since they have a unique ability to disperse light to make a small rainbow when hit with light. They also can play a musical note when their edges are slightly wet and you rub your fingers around the edge.

Whatever your choice for your goblet of success, it will definitely be something to showcase to the world something that reflects your achievements and yourself.
