To remove this virus, we can either try a manual removal or use an automatic removal. Manual removals are only to be attempted by IT professionals, because of the small margin for error. What we absolutely don't want is to try a manual removal, delete the wrong registry file, and end up with a PC that doesn't boot up anymore. Having said that, if you are willing to try a removal yourself, you will need to remove registry files in your HKEY_CURRENT_USER and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE folders.
