subject: Creating Quality Content For Seo [print this page]

Most site masters think that the best way for them to reap the benefits of search engine optimization is to have a site that is filled with content and keywords relevant to the topic. This is not wrong in itself but you do need a website that is designed with good quality and still has your important keywords. There is a bigger importance to good content for people and for search engines.

The focus has shifted to creating quality content and not just creating them for the sake of search engine optimization. The content should be something that your visitors will find value in while at the same time being helpful to the search engine crawlers. Google and other search engines make use of complicated algorithms that sift through websites and only return the ones that are important to the searcher. They also have the capacity to learn language. You cannot fool them because they can see if your site is just filled with keywords and not really providing something of value. This will result to your SEO status taking a hit.

Most site masters do not realize this and choose to instead fill up the site with so many keywords even if they are not relevant to anything. The point is for you to create good content that gives value to your site visitors. You must have exerted a lot of effort to get your visitors to come to your page. You used back links and have commented on websites and blogs to create more good back links.

And these have all done their purpose to get the customers to your site. So the goal now is to make them stay on the site and do what you want them to do (buy your service or product). If you have a site that is just filled with nonsense, they will be better off spending their time elsewhere. Give your visitors some good information that they can use and even forward to their friends. If you do this, you have a greater chance of them making a repeat visit. This should be your main focus and goal.

Do not just fill up your pages with so many keywords but miss out on the quality. It is not enough to keep the keyword density; they should also be of value. This is what will ultimately determine the success of your search engine optimization efforts.
