Ohio State will open their season with Marshall on September 2nd in Columbus and should fair well against them. The September 11th against the Miami Hurricanes will be a challenge but Ohio State will win out. The next two matches are against Ohio University and Eastern Michigan, which OSU should win without too much struggle.The Big Ten opener will be played at the Fighting Illini stadium and will be a great match up against the awesome defense of Illinois against the unstoppable offense of Ohio State.
With games against Big 10 opponents including Indiana, Wisconsin, Purdue and Minnesota over the next four weeks the Buckeyes will be looking forward to the first week in November when they will be able to finally have a week off to regroup and get prepared for the rough upcoming month. November 13th will be a great challenge for the Buckeyes against Joe Patterno's crew, the Nittany Lions. On November 20th the team will be traveling to Iowa for a later then usual game against the Hawkeyes, the two teams typically meet in September but their schedules conflicted with each other and November worked much better for the two to meet in Iowa City.
The big game between Michigan and Ohio State will be played on November 27th, who knows what Rich Rodriguez will bring to the table but the winner of this game will win the gold pants that Ohio State has won for the past six seasons. With a tough season like this Ohio State will have their work cut out for them if they want to make a trip to the big dance In January.
