Aladdin is one of my favorite animated adventure film. I am actually a big fan of his flying carpet. I am always looking forward in riding on it someday. But I know that it is only a big impossible dream because there's no such thing that exists. Anyhow, there's still a small voice inside me shouting that I should never stop believing. Funny isn't it? But, that's me and I'm happy to admit that.
Five years later, I am no longer a fan of any fairy tales. But it does not mean that I forgot what I dreamed of when I was still young. Like the dream of having a magic carpet someday. I said to myself, in order to somewhat accomplish it, I should have one carpet. Any carpet will do.
I bought another carpet after my first one. Not just once, but then it continues until today. I was absolutely attracted to the designs and styles of the carpets. Actually, I only buy those carpets that caught my eyes.
The red carpet of the Hollywood stars was one of the most famous carpets known to everyone. That's why I bought one. I placed it inside my room and imagined myself as one of those famous stars. Yes, funny it is. My mom actually laughed at me when she found out what I am doing inside my room.
The internet is now famous to everyone as the easy and quick source of information. With just a few steps, you can now easily find what you are looking for. I actually experienced it myself. When I knew about this news, I then immediately searched for carpets. I searched for carpet design, carpet types, carpet manufacturer, carpet styles, and many more. With just one click, I got a lot of lists.
I have read some articles about carpets. As what I remember, it says there that before only those in the higher class of the society are the ones who are able to own these beautiful and wonderful carpets. But now it is already in anybody's house. Like my house for example. It actually adds more beauty when we see them around.
Sometimes reaching your dream doesn't mean that you have to achieve it literally. Sometimes, it is just the feeling that you have acquired that made it more meaningful. Like in my case, I may not be able to ride in a magic carpet, yet I think I already achieved it through my collection of carpets! They make me fell like flying because of the joy they bring when I see them. However, cleaning our carpets should also be our top priority because as what they always say, cleanliness is next to godliness.
