subject: Exactly Why Acquiring A Laptop Computer Could Possibly Be Sensible [print this page]

Most people are slaves to their computerMost people are slaves to their computer. They bring work home and sit for hours in front of the screen, usually in another room away from the family. This isn't good as everyone else is together, and the hard working breadwinner is alone and apart

Most people do need to do work on their computer at home there is no doubt about that. That is the price to be paid for life in the modern era. It does have some advantages however, because many people are now able to take some days every month away from the office, because they can work at home on their computer.

The penny may well have dropped for you as it has for many people. That is owning a laptop which gives you huge advantages.

We all travel as part of our job, many of us on a train on a daily basis, others by plane. A laptop used sensibly can cut down the hours formerly spent at home in front of a computer screen apart from the family group. Just give up a few minutes chat, or newspaper reading on the train and exchange that for time spent with the family.

If you do that, things at home won't be the same. Sitting with the family, even if you have the laptop ever present is somewhat different to being behind a closed door. This time has been created by sensible use of travelling time.

Looking back into the past has become fun. You may feel a laptop can never equate to a desktop computer. You may feel the specifications will limit what you can do. We have all thought like that, when it is simply not true.

Think on this. How important are the graphics, game playing ability alongside the fact that you can sit on a train or in a park and be connected to the internet. Emails can be sent and received, work can be done when it is convenient for me, and the battery certainly lasts plenty long enough.

If you haven't yet, do it now, and invest in a laptop. Free yourself from the office and the front room away from your kids. Do it now before it is too late
