subject: KJV Bible Assumed Supremacy [print this page]

There are different bible versions since the 1940s until today such as the KJV Bible, NIV Bible, NKJV Bible or the NASB Bible which you can find around the world today and are being used by different religions. With all the different bible versions which do you think is the right bible for you?

Different versions of the bible have been considered by many people as exasperating but not for others who believe that the KJV Bible is the only bible having the correct version and the protectors of the supremacy of the King James Bible are very outspoken about it.

This has been observed in many bible studies when people bring different bibles with different versions. Many people believed that the KJV Bible is not the only best version and insist on it is the only valid English version as it was translated from Greek to the English language.

Some people say that the King James had bad versions and this makes KJV Bible having an assumed supremacy.

People in different religions have different reasons why they use the King James Bible based on theological reasons, textual reasons, philosophical reasons, cultural reasons and practical reasons. Such reasons will only bring more questions and debates which among the different bible versions is the best.

You can see a lot of people who are using the King James Bible are actually worshiping the Bible itself. They think of the King James Bible as perfect without errors and because of this thinking, the supremacy of the King James Bible is considered to be assumed.

Popularity and worship are two different things. It will be better if people are using the bible based on their spiritual belief and faith not because they think it is the best bible. The supremacy of the bible is not only being popular but it has to be popularly used because the people believe on what is written on it.
