Your reason for entering this business could be as simple as debt reduction or as complex as philanthropic work. Your dream establishes the desired outcome of your business efforts. It is this overall reason that directs all of your businees building activities and efforts. Without this guiding dream you will lack focus, wandering around aimlessly with no clear direction. Your day to day efforts are guided by your dream, since it is your dream that gives purpose to your work.
Commitment is required to keep the dream alive. People who lack commitment find it easy to give up and walk away, without giving their decision a second thought. Commitment allows no room for compromise, pushing you forward until such time as your goals are obtained. Because of the commitment you have made to yourself, there is no obstacle that will cause you to retreat from the pursuit of your goal. Those who are committed simply strive that much harder, when the going gets tough; however, turning back is never an option.
The final ingredient is desire. It is a person's desire that puts action to their internal commitments. Desire becomes the internal drive that leads a person to do the work necessary to fufill their commitment, no matter how long that may take. A person with drive will find as many productive uses for their time as possible, while a person without drive will find as many non-productive excuses for that same amount of time. This same quality compels and individual to spend time improving and sharpening their skills and abilities, in an effort to improve their overall productivity.
In the end, you have to remember that this is YOUR network marketing business. In the end it will be YOUR dream, commitment and drive that determine whether or not your succeed or fail.
