You will have someone to call honey. There is something about these terms of endearment. These just feel good to utter.
If you had a bad day, there is someone to talk to who will surely listen.
You have someone to greet good morning to and to say good night to every single day.
You get to have a good night kiss.
Your Saturdays will be occupied by a restaurant reservation "for two" after a movie.
You have someone to hold your hand.
You have someone to hug.
A back massage would not be so expensive anymore.
You have someone to carry to your room. Then you don't have to do it alone.
You get to have a date who will make everybody's jaw drop on your nasty cousin's wedding.
There will be someone to cook for you in the morning and to wash the dishes too!
You can have food delivered on a busy lunch Wednesday with a note saying "I miss you."
You get to have a very pretty nurse whenever you're sick.
You have someone to say "I love you." to.
Basically, you will be a very happy man.
The Cons
Every day won't be guaranteed to be a wonderful one.
There will be times that you will be grumpy.
Sleepless nights because of a fight will be inevitable.
You need to work extra hard for the weekend dates.
The space in your bathroom won't be yours alone. Sooner or later, you will see toners, facial cleanser and tampons.
You might get a plant to water.
You can't just strip a hot, gorgeous lady passing by in that little head of yours anytime you want. If you don't want to get a slap in the face and a fight after that is.
Someone would suggest that you should stop your poker nights with your bros.
There will be too many "significant dates" to remember. And if any case, you get to forget, just even one, you're a dead man.
She gets to choose which popcorn flavor to pop while seeing the movie.
And Oh! She gets to choose what movie to see as well.
You will have to learn how to lift that toilet seat up.
You might say goodbye to your rock music. If you happen to end up with some girl who likes loud songs, you are one hell of a lucky man.
If the relationship ends bad, you have to start all over again.
If you will ask me, it's better to take the risk and experience the whirlwind ride, yet fun, loving and exciting experience of starting a new relationship that end up alone, old and boring. Who knows? This next relationship that you are about to build will be "the one!" You will never know, right? Unless you take the big leap and brave all the consequences of the journey to love.
