subject: Jason Aldean Tickets - Jason Aldean Releases A New Single, Announces Release Date For New Album [print this page] Jason Aldean's new album may not be scheduled to arrive until November, but the lead single off his forthcoming set, "My Kinda Party," hit country radio on Aug. 4. Speaking about "My Kinda Party," which will get an official release on Aug. 16, Aldean says on his official website, "This song is all about workin' for the weekend. My fans work hard, so they can rip it up when Saturday rolls around. I hope they hear this one and want to turn it up. We put a little extra juice on the electric guitars for that reason." "My Kinda Party" is sure to follow in the footsteps of Aldean's other smash singles like "Big Green Tractor," "The Truth" and "Hicktown."
Country fans can expect a healthy dose of electric guitar throughout Aldean's forthcoming album, as he recently told The Boot, "I don't want to say it's more of the same because it's a little different. It's our type of album, the same [sound] as we have always done it. It's my version of country music. I grew up listening to George Strait, Ronnie Milsap, Conway Twitty ... I also listened to a lot of '80s rock bands." Don't worry, though; Aldean's signature sound will remain intact, as he assured The Boot, saying, "What I do is country ... lyrically, melodically, everything about it is country. The only thing we change around a bit is that we make the guitars...a little more aggressive. It has a little more of an edge to it."
Fans with Jason Aldean tickets have a chance to hear "My Kinda Party" live on his current tour. Aldean has dates lined up in cities like Hamburg, N.Y.; Morgantown, W.Va.; York, Pa.; Charleston, S.C.; Cherokee, N.C.; Corpus Christi, Texas and more lined up through early October. Aldean told The Boot that he and his band usually perform a few covers songs during gigs as well, saying, "That usually happen spur of the moment. We'll be riding down the road and I'll hear a song and think that'd be cool to cover that and we throw it in the show."
In addition to his tour stops, Aldean will be featured in the upcoming ABC special Country's Night to Rock on Sept. 1. Hosted by 11-time CMA Award winner Tim McGraw, the event will feature performances by Aldean, Alan Jackson, Kid Rock, Billy Currington, Miranda Lambert, Rascal Flatts, Kellie Pickler, Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Reba McEntire and many more. The performances were captured at the annual CMA Music festival held in the country capital of Nashville in May.
He may be performing alongside some of country's brightest-shining stars now, but Jason Aldean emerged onto the country music scene as recent as 2005, when he released his eponymous debut album. Aldean's debut scored a spot in the Top 40, and he did even better the second time around with his sophomore album, Relentless. Relentless yielded a string of hit singles-"Johnny Cash," "She's Country" and "Big Green Tractor"-and was followed by 2009's platinum-selling Wide Open, Aldean's most recent album to date.
