subject: Justin Bieber Tickets - Justin Bieber Takes On Movies And A Memoir [print this page]

Justin Bieber's debut album, My World 2.0, may still be heating up the charts, but Billboard.com reports that the Canadian pop sensation is setting his sights on movies and memoirs! Paramount Pictures has confirmed the release of an as-yet-untitled 3D biopic about Bieber's life and meteoric rise to fame, which will hit the big screen on Feb. 11, 2011. Bieber, who will play himself in the film, tweeted on Aug. 2: "Next Valentine's we r coming with a major 3D movie telling the story with an Oscar winning director and also film in the tour at MSG in NYC!!" The recently greenlit project may be directed by David Guggenheim (the Oscar-winning director of An Inconvenient Truth).

The news of Bieber's upcoming big screen role arrived one day later than publisher HarperCollins' announcement that a memoir on the 16-year-old star will arrive in October. Titled Justin Bieber: First Step 2 Forever: My Story, the memoir will chronicle Bieber's "amazing journey to stardom" and will include never-before-seen photos for "fans afflicted with Bieber fever." HarperCollins quotes Bieber as saying that he is "excited to share just a little bit more of my world." And fans are sure to eat it right up!

As if being one of the hottest pop stars on the music scene (and a fledgling actor and writer to boot!) isn't enough, Justin Bieber can now add "videographer" to his resume! Billboard.com reports that Bieber collaborated with Alfredo Flores for a video tribute to his fans across the globe. Set to "Love Me," the video features clips of Bieber's dance moves, behind-the-scene footage and live performances from My World Pt. 2 Tour and footage of Bieber hanging out with his mentor, Usher. Just another day in the life of a teen sensation.

While Bieber fever has most commonly infected female fans worldwide, Justin Bieber does have one unlikely fan: basketball star Shaquille O'Neal. According to Billboard.com, Shaq was on hand to see Bieber in concert in Phoenix, Arizona on July 27 and wound up delivering an impromptu performance for the teen star before the concert! Prior to his surprise serenade, Shaq awarded Bieber four Teen Choice Awards on July 24 while performing at Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, Ariz. "I was at a justin bieber [sic] concert he had dat mug jumpin 50 thousand people dat kids a star, and I got his autograph thanks Justin," a star-struck Shaq tweeted afterward. Bieber is set to appear on the second season of the NBA veteran's NBC reality show Shaq vs. Shaquille O'Neal in the near future-during which the stars will reportedly compete in a dance-off!

Shaq's dance skills remain to be seen, but Justin Bieber has been showing off his moves on his current tour supporting My World 2.0. Fans with Justin Bieber tickets can see him perform songs like his breakout hit, "Baby," in cities like Duluth, Ga.; Nashville, Tenn.; Indianapolis, Ind.; Auburn Hills, Mich.; Toronto, ON; London, ON; Albany, N.Y.; Providence, R.I.; Manchester, N.H.; Allentown, Pa.; Winnipeg, MB; Regina, SK; Calgary, AB; Honolulu, Hawaii and more. Bieber will be spreading Bieber fever on tour throughout the U.S. and his native Canada through December.
