another matter.
If you aren't, then you should. It's by far one of the most effective and free methods of
generating targeted traffic and building your list.
I use this a lot in my business.
Here's what you do...
1. Use the list of 50 blogs in your niche. Find the highest traffic blogs from this list. You
can tell this by a few factors, such as the blogs Page Rank, the number of
comments on each post, the Alexa rank or the number of feed subscribers.
2. Contact the owner of the blog asking if they would allow you to contribute an article to
their blog. Explain that it's free unique content for them and that all you would
require is a resource box at the end of the article with a link back to your site.
3. If the blog owner accepts, find out if there's any specific subject they'd like you to write
the article on and then get writing. Make it some of your best content to encourage
the chances that they will accept future articles from you too.
Your content will then be submitted to the blog and you'll start benefit from traffic almost
instantly.
I did this the other day in the internet marketing niche. I emailed one blog owner, got
accepted and had my article on his Page Rank
Quick tip: Find a blog and sign up to their newsletter or their RSS feed. When they send
out an email notifying of a new blog post, head over there quick and make a comment.
You'll then benefit from the traffic coming from their email.
