subject: Finding Bathroom Storage Solution Deals [print this page]

The problem most people have with their bathroom is that there isn't enough storage space available for all of the junk you collect. Lots of people are frantically searching to find ways to cram more storage into their cramped bathrooms. Finding storage space can be extremely important if you don't have any space available to store your clean towels, and beauty supplies.

You ideally want to keep the storage in the bathroom, if you've forgotten something it would be nice to be able to get it without leaving the bathroom. Even if you have a small bathroom it is possible to create enough storage for most people's needs. You should make the most of all the available space in order to create a very useable room. You could consider hiring a carpenter to create a unique solution to your storage problems.

Storage over the Toilet

One of the most commonly forgotten areas of space is the area above the toilet. If you don't have much room then installing shelves or a cabinet above the toilet may be a very good idea. You can also purchase over the toilet storage units which have columns either side of the toilet with storage on the top. Many of these units can be purchased in flat pack form from your local home hardware store and simply need assembling. If you just need a little extra storage space then you should consider using this solution.

Baskets

Tiered hanging baskets are a common sight in the kitchen, however they are also perfect for bathroom storage. If you have a very small bathroom then this can be used to create more storage space. If you have an empty corner or area that isn't being used you can use these hanging baskets to utilize the space. These baskets are well suited to storing rolled up clothes, and even towels. They could also be used for storing your beauty supplies, soap and toiletries. You can tie your hanging baskets in with the rest of your dcor from your shower curtain to your blinds with a little bit of imagination.

Under The Sink

You don't need to have a cabinet under your sink in order to use it for storage. You could install shelving quite easily in this space and use it for storing all of your non personal items. You could also use a set of freestanding shelves under the sink to store all sorts of things.

You can never have too many shelves in a small bathroom. You should turn any available wall space into storage space by using shelves, install as many as you need. Don't be silly and put them one on top of each other, they have to be functional too! Shelves can increase your storage space dramatically.
