subject: How To Keep Your Diamond Jewelry As New As Ever [print this page]

Diamond jewelry a dream of every woman; a desire that remains forever until its fulfilled. The obvious question is would the desire for diamond jewelry be ever fulfilled, even if they own one? Well the answer to it can only be given by a woman. Diamonds are forever, however, if you want their shine or sparkle to remain forever and as new as ever, then be sure you take good care of your jewelry; after all, who would want to take a chance with jewelry like the rings that are really close to a womans heart such as the engagement ring or the anniversary ring?

Where to store them

Always see to it that each jewel that you have is stored properly in a jewel case which is lined with a soft fabric. Also see to it that each jewel has its own space and no two jewels are kept together or in contact.

Every diamond has its own place

Diamonds are the hardest gemstone of all, hence if you place them with other gemstones, there is a possibility of diamonds to cause scratch on other soft gemstones.

Wrapping the Diamond

Be sure of wrapping each jewel separately with tissue cloth before storing them in a jewel box.

Caution - While washing hands

Women generally have a tendency of washing their hands with their diamond ring on their finger; well this needs to be avoided because it is a known fact that rings that have diamonds embedded, have the tendency of slipping down from your finger, causing you to lose your precious ring.

Caution Storing Necklaces, Pendants and Bracelets

While storing your diamond studs or diamond bracelets, be sure you do not store or jumble them with other pieces of jewelry, or you might end up causing damage to all the pieces which includes the necklace and bracelet.

It has been generally noted that women store their chains without detaching the pendant; well this is one thing that must certainly be avoided, the diamond pendant must be detached and wrapped in a tissue cloth and stored separately.
