subject: A romanian tragedy [print this page] In the middle of August 2010 an amazing piece of news dumbfounded the public in Romania : in a hospital three infants died and other six babies were unhealthy . An explosion destroyed the installation which sheltered the babies . The death of the three children was somehow fast , but the other children endured the torture of the fire and the traumas after explozion .
What happened?
The installation (the baby incubator - a neonatal intensive care unit , also called a newborn intensivecare unit, intensive care nursery , and special care baby unit) was old . Such a unit has an electrical component , with detectors and sensors , with electrical wires , with heating system which should maintain constant temperature in the baby incubator . A regular maintenance of the baby incubator was necessary , but was not sufficient . Because everything was old and not made any upgrade or any improvement of the medical equipment and of the baby incubator , because of lack of money - accident occurred : some
electrical wires were heated and were burning . Then the fire spread . Three babies were burned alive and have died , other six babies survived for a time with severe burns on their bodies , being disfigured and mutilated , in a deplorable state . Some survivors later died , after terrible tortures . Panic and helplessness for infants from hospital . Pain and despair for parents of children . People affected by tragedy ...
Children have suffered great torment , especially those who survived . Negligence ? Indolence ? Bad technique equipment ?
Event cruelty gave birth many questions . Why? Why did it happen? Why so many accidents in Romania ? Where is the protection of people , especially child protection? How long there will be such tragedies? Who's to blame? Who is guilty? Who is guilty? Who is guilty?
We must be lucid and rational ! All Romanian people are guilty ! Yes ! All Romanian people are guilty ! The cause of problems is a deep one , has big length and is an insurmountable one . The cause of problems is somewhere in communism of '80 years in Romania . Tragedies of today are just the effect and the result of those causes ...
Nicolae Ceausescu was a harsh , absurd , paranoid and inhuman dictator. Was an incredible absurdity for human species . He was like a Pharaoh . In the name of communism he subjugated people (Romanian people) and then dictated the fate of this nation. He wanted hunger for Romanian people . It was hunger .
He wanted cold in the houses of Romanian people . It was cold . He wanted the dark for Romanian people . It was dark . He wanted slavery to humans. It was slavery . He wanted terror for Romanian people. It was terror : terrible communist SECURITY of Ceausescu and miserable Militia of Nicolae Ceausescu and docile communist leaders around Ceausescu brought terror in Romania . Ceausecu wanted people heavily to work . He began to build a People Home - a giant building , largest building in the world , for him
and his family , for the flag with the communist insignia which will flutter on top of People Home . He started a canal : to connect Danube to Black Sea , then a canal to connect Danube to Bucharest . Thousands of workers have worked for megalomania projects of Nicolae Ceausescu ...What is Romanian people's fault? Cowardice ! This is Romanian people's guilt . Cowardice . Mendicant attitude . Attitude of Praise - to flatter , to slaver , to blandish , to blarney , to coax , to suck up to , to toady , to wheedle , to fawn , to butter up . The phrase that characterizes this attitude is "They kissed the ass ..."
- of Ceausescu , of the communist leaders etc. etc. While in Hungary an anti-communist revolution broke out in 1956 , while in Czechoslovakia it was an anticommunist movement called "The Prague Spring" , while in Poland it was union "Solidarity" which gathered around the elite of Poland and many anticommunist people , in Romania it was only "to kiss the ass !" . Can you believe ? A nation of cowards ! A humble nation ! A despicable nation !
But December 1989 ? What about December 1989 ? The big powers of the world , USA and Soviet Union decided demolished communism in Eastern Europe . Without USA and Soviet Union , without Ronald Regan and Mihail Gorbaciov - December 1989 would not have been in Romania ! Can you believe ? Can you imagine so much cowardice? Can you imagine so much indolence? Romanian people are guilty ! This is the truth ...
After December 1989 some swindlers have EXPLOITED guilt of Romanian people . A nation that feels guilty is vulnerable , is at the mercy of swindlers and thieves . So, the swindlers , the thieves and the liars have seized Romania . The new power in Romania is the power theft , power fraud , power lies , dirty power of money , power flippancy . Romanian people are guilty ! Romanian people did not fight against injustice , abuse , corruption , lie and theft . NEVER ! Millions of Romanian people accept the lie , theft , abuse . Millions of Romanian people waiting for a miracle ... maybe a money rain , or a rain with sausages ... Millions of Romanian people arguing with each other because life is hard and miserable in Romania . "Save this European nation !" some intellectuals in France said in '80 years . How to save thieves? How to save some guilty people ? The only rescue is moral changing in Romanian society .
Three babies have died and other babies suffered burns and other injuries. A tragedy ! Pain and crying ! Tears and regret ! Why ? ...
About me :
I wrote several pages about the communist regime and about Nicolae Ceausescu in '80 years . The communist Security found those writings , arrested me , questioned me . I was in prison , then at the canal Danube - Bucharest . In August 1989 (four months before the crash of the communist regime) Nicolae Ceausescu visited the Canal :
... Engineers, technicians, designers and workers , we are all on the southern bank of the canal , we are engaged in the activity , we are full of zeal and sweating , we almost forgot about lunch . On the southern bank of the canal , the Presidential helicopter landing . Nicolae Ceausescu wants to see stage works .
He is dressed in a white suit , and wears white shoes , and a thin hat on his head , also white . He is calm and seems to feel comfortable . He rarely saws the air with his hands to explain the destination of the canal and to give valuable indications . He looks around , he shows the hand in one direction . Most of his entourage are quite relaxed and are almost apathetic . Workers concern him minutes , then they see their working . "It's boss !" So much! There are not any critical comments ! No reproach ! Not - at least - praise ! The landscape seems eternal . River, the banks with concrete slabs , dragline , excavator , compressor , tan workers , engineers with construction projects under their arms , hut , tanks , trembling air heat , blue sky and scorching sun , White Helicopter , Ceausescu dressed in white , the few people around him ...
"His smart , deep and quiet smile ,
His eyes which read the human soul ,
And his hand which carries human destiny ,
Greets in his way the ragged group .
His greatness - secretly -of these people connected ."
I say in my mind :
"Farewell , dear leader of an unfortunate nation , which seems followed by curse ! Farewell , crazy old man with degrees on the shoulder and your head in clouds , with high role and opponents who were silent ! Farewell , hypocritical , who said he cares about people , but you let them to starve , to endure a cold winter , to be afraid of Security and not to hope ever ! Farewell , revolutionary man , who demanded - for few words spoken when communism was illegal - more than a Pharaoh would demand from his nation ! Farewell , incompetent boss , empty-headed being , who thinks he knows everything , stubborn until absurdity , blind and deaf about the troubles of the people ! Farewell , gentleman with white suit , who claims to be an worker and protector of the workers and comrade of all Romanian people , but incapable to be compassionate and kind-hearted , incapable of pity , sympathy and care for your fellow creature !Farewell , visionary leader , wiser than a child in nursery school and more realistic than a fly drunk ! Farewell , conceited , vain glorious peacock , strong oak from Scornicesti , founder of nation and of country , high as Stephen the Great and FIRST MAN of the country ! Farewell , farewell , farewell ! The crowd lies in wait - with hatred and contempt , with fear and disgust , ready to tear you to thousand pieces ! You made unhappy a nation ! You isolated your people and let them hungry ! You hid the parents and the grandfathers of Romanian people and made them to believe that you are the unique steersman ! You ordered Romanian people to glorify you , you made them to become humble and weak , you bound them - with invisible threads - to their pitiful condition of slaves of marxist ideology ! You maimed and crippled Romanian people or you pushed them to self-mutilation , that you to become most beautiful , smartest , richest , most spiritual human being in Romania ! ... You've betrayed the nation , taking last piece of bread and last glimpse of hope of Romanian people ! You have sold your nation a communist ideology , without - at least - to ask the nation if it is agreed ! You've took possession of everything this country has - as if you would have deserved !...
Go !... and find your inner peace elsewhere ! Go !... and find your comrades in another territory ! Go !... and boast among dullards and put a star on your forehead - that someones not to confound you with ordinary people ! Go quietly to Lybia and spend there the rest of your life - because nobody will intrude upon you ! Take the Bible and read and see your humaneness - as much as you have ! Learn to talk , you , stammerer , stutterer , illiterate - that to be able to answer when judgement will be ! Let me in the freedom as I was born ! Let me - at least - the hope that I will be free ever !...
