This one often includes more energy than many of the other kinds of happy expressions and it relays a feeling of pure love and happiness. While this one may indicate romance, it does not have to.

You can also use this facial expression because of the love you have for a pet or a toy. It does not have to be reserved for the significant other, but it is often used by engaged couples.

The third one is the Most Beautiful Smile. When this one is used it can take your breath away.

When a young lady uses this smile, a young man's heart may skip a beat. This unique facial expression can also change hearts.

The fourth one is a simple Happy Smile. The name indicates exactly what it is.

It relays a feeling of happiness and joy. This one is used on many occasions.

The fifth kind is the thoughtful smile. During this one, the eyes often glaze over as your thoughts turn inward.

You are most likely remembering a very happy time. As you think about it, the joy returns and your lips turn up into a very Thoughtful Smile.

The sixth kind is the Know It All Smile. This one is often used by teenagers and some adults.

It is generally not a full beaming facial expression. It is simply a small or hinted smile.

This one is used more and more as your mind becomes full of memories and learning. An ancient looking person may look very wise when they use this kind of facial expression.

The seventh kind is the Sparkle in The Eyes Smile. This one indicates pure joy as the smile extends from your mouth through your eyes.

The sparkling effect of this facial expression is absolutely stunning on those who are around you at the time. This one often says it all with no words ever being used.

The eighth kind is the Boss Smile. You probably know this facial expression very well.

It is often used by children when they believe they have the authority to rule over their siblings. However, your boss may have used it once or twice as well.

The ninth kind is the Lucky Smile. This one is often used by lottery winners and others who have been pleasantly blessed with luck sometime throughout the day.

It is somewhat bashful or almost embarrassed. It is happy, but surprised with the pleasant return.

Sometimes people use a facial expression that exhibits fake amusement. However, these two facial expressions are definitely distinguishable.

The eleventh kind is the Naughty Smile. This one is used by children who know they are doing something they should not be doing.

They are secretly pleased with themselves for hiding if from you, but their facial expression gives them away! This one brings levity to the situation, even if what they were doing was fairly serious.

The twelfth kind is the Satisfied Smile. This expression indicates pleasure with the completion of a project or the enjoyment of a perfect dish.

The thirteenth kind is the Contented Smile. This expression is often used by adults who are relaxed and at ease.
