They're different lengths and different speeds of the reels. Basically what you need to fish for trout is a simple rig. If you are new to the sport than you don't want to spend a bagful of money. There is no guarantees in terms of fishing and particularly rarely does spending more money equate catching bigger fish.

Bait is what is used to get the trout to bite on the line. What kind of bait to use all depends on who you ask. There are actually so a variety of baits which are used it is really hard to figure out which works best. Some folks swear by night crawlers, some folks swear by bacon. Yes bacon, some folks use peanut butter and bacon.

It's hard to say that is best for trout fishing, a great way to figure out what is going to get the trout inside your area biting is to use a trial and error system. Try one bait than try another to see what really gets them going.

Different kinds of bait can either be purchased or many times it's something that you'll already have on hand within the house. You could actually dig up a few worms right out of the yard.

Trout fishing is a great way to bring the family together and to get a bit down time in. It is an activity that's largely free. There are plenty of places where you can cast your line and sit back and relax and spend some quality time getting to know your fishing partners.
