16th annual San Diego Festival of Beer

Do you love your beer? Then what are you waiting for? Head straight to the sixteenth annual San Diego Festival of Beer. The streets at Columbia and B in downtown San Diego will once again become haven for beer lovers like you where you can guzzle down beer from around seventy five different breweries.

There will be a fine collection wines available for purchase. You can buy them to take back home. Try to reach early for the festival of Beer as the first 6000 guests will receive a free wine tasting mug as a souvenir to take back home. The event will take place on September 10, 2010 and tickets are out for sale. Featuring more than 75 breweries and 150 craft beers, the San Diego Festival of Beer is the oldest and largest craft beer in the city. Organized by the San Diego Professionals Against Cancer (SDPAC), the San Diego Festival of Beer has been able to generate nearly $500,000 for treatment of cancer patients, cancer research and services.

San Diego Festival of Beer is all about fine wines, scrumptious food and Live rocking music. If you chance to be on a San Diego vacation during September, don't miss this exciting event at any cost. But of course there is a condition. You have to be 21 years or older to be a part of this beer festival.

San Diego Restaurant Week

San Diego is well known for lip smacking cuisines and culinary delights from all over the world. No wonder the San Diego Restaurant Week is a much awaited and popular event. To be held from 19 to 24 September, 2010; this event promises to give visitors a truly memorable dining experience.

More than 180 restaurants are participating, so you can imagine the variety of cuisines you can get to relish. Best part of the San Diego Restaurant Week is that you can savor delicious culinary delights at a much lower price. As all the participating restaurants offer full three-course menus at a very reasonable price.

No passes are required for Restaurant Week. However it is better if you book your reservations in your favorite restaurant in advance. You can book your tables either by calling the restaurants or online. For convenience, it is advisable if you find a hotel in San Diego which is centrally located, so that you can easily commute.
