subject: Why is the origin of the universe a mystery? [print this page] Why is the origin of the Universe a mystery?
We are faced, by obligation, with an immense living universe. This universe is enigmatic in its presence, its origin, structure and matter which consists its very existence.
With all the scientific pprogress of today, the big bang hypothesis, the all theory, quantum theory and the theory of relativity, the universe is still a mystery.
We have limited knowledge to its dimensions but not to its substances and lesser still to its origin and above all who put it there?
It would be of great help to to our limited understanding to know more about the origin of the universe.
What was matter as zero point in the big bang? What instigated matter to be as it is, and then develop as it does? What was behindthe zero point and whatbrought matter about?
All a mystery to science. We are unable to know how life manifested in the human species. Unable to know how man was brought about.
We are unable to answer fundemental questionrelated to the presence of life, manifested in two million dimensions, let alone flora and other life structures.
Man's own form and shape is still unknown in resence, inorigin and in finality.
We guess only with regard tothe mystery of this being.
Everything is provided for us namely conditions of life, earth, air, water, food, atmospheric pressure, gravitationand all energies like the sun, the moon, electricity, magnatism and the like.
The list is endless, but all cooperate in order to give life and sustain life. All life manifestations undergo the same thing. They are made of matter, have a specific life-sycle and is doomed to death.
No one knows exactly who controls, who brings about all manifestations of life and its means of sustenance.
Well, with the least use of our grey cells we must be able to acknowledge that something controls things. We cannot when we look into our universe ignore the structure of the universe, its immensity, its beauty and its magnificance.
Our immediate reaction is to think of a power, all knowledgeable, all control in its hands, that must have brought things to be as they are.
Our knowledge is of what we see and what we comprehend.
To think of the universe is but to believe in God.
