Setting up is simplicity itself and can be accomplished quickly and easily with one adult and a helper - child over 5 can manage. It also proves to be easy to break down and re-pack which is certainly not the case with all family sized dome tents.
Thanks to the 3 room layout you can enjoy some privacy by dividing the kids, dogs, gear and yourselves as you please. Sound proofing however, is not yet available as an option!
The 3 separate doors provide easy access to all rooms. This means not only that locating gear is easy but there's no clambering across bodies and bags in the night when you need to visit the washroom!
Wenzel utilize weather armor fabric but all seams must still be sealed against heavy rain before you set out...you have been warned! (Why don't they do that at the factory eh?)
Ventilation is great, with polyester mesh window and door covers. In addition, the removable rain fly allows full airflow and daylight through the roof but can be easily and quickly fitted if the weather takes a turn for the worse.
Wenzel have these special fully welded tub floors which really do a fabulous job of keeping the water out. There is no stitching at the corners and so you don't get any water seeping in to create a damp soggy corner. A blessing for keeping bedding dry.
