So, what is a dream? In the literal sense, a dream is a series of thought, images and sensations that occur in a person's mind during sleep. But, the deeper meaning of a dream lies in the supreme realization of one's goals, aspirations and objectives in life.
Compromise, on the other hand, is something that is halfway between conflicting elements. For instance, a compromise between greed and caution.
When we limit ourselves only to what seems possible or reasonable, we make a compromise. And yes, compromise does shatter dreams. For eg.-you want to become a journalist but your parents want you to become an engineer. That's when, to honor your parents' desires, you do make a compromise.
But, we must always strive hard to translate our dreams into reality. Our dream should be our life's goal. All this takes is pure passion and nothing else.
