subject: Understanding The Mechanics Of A Bread Machine [print this page]

A lot of people choose homemade bread over store bought bread for a number of reasons. Freshly baked bread is often far less expensive, it is not filled with preservatives, it is more nutritious, and it simply tastes wonderful. Because home baked bread is so popular there are a lot of bread makers on the market that help people make freshly baked bread much more easily.

Here's how to use a bread machine to bake your bread. First you will have to add the ingredients into the machine, select the cycle you want to use such as "white bread" "whole wheat bread" etc. Then press start. The bread machine will then automatically knead your dough, let it rise and then bake it to perfection as long as you measured your ingredients correctly which is a very important step in the bread making process.

Your bread machine will have a rotating paddle that will mix your ingredients and then also knead your dough. Some machines has 2 paddles which makes the process more effective. The dough will then be left to rise in the machine for the correct amount of time before it will start the baking process. After all is said and done you will be left a delicious loaf of bread ready to serve.

The cool thing about bread machines is that they are computerized and comes standard with a lot of settings to use for baking many types of bread. Some machines comes with a recipe book but we recommend you buy a recipe book from Amazon or your local store because most recipe books that comes with the machines are not very good.

Some of the breads you can make with the built in settings are Gluten free bread, white bread, whole wheat bread and even french bread and dinner rolls. Just add your ingredients, select the kind of bread you want to make and press start.
