3. Wear skins

Skins is a product that you wear in which it wraps around your muscle tight so that it stops lactic acid from building up in your muscle. Lactic acid is a contributing factor in creating DOMS, so if you reduced the amount of lactic acid in your muscles, you stop DOMS straight in its tracks.

Skins can be bought from your local sports store and online easily. It is also a good tool to prevent sports injuries also.

4. Stretching

Stretching your muscles after a hard physical activity or gym session can help stop DOMS. Stretching stops DOMS by stopping lactic acid from building up in a concentrated area in the muscle. It also helps the muscle from getting stiff and rigid which can also contribute to the muscle soreness.

5. Drink lots of water

Delayed onset of muscle soreness usually occurs when you dont drink enough water. This is because when your body is dehydrated, your general blood circulation is reduced. This means that your body tissues like your muscles dont get enough nutrients or energy to function properly. This causes muscle damage and pain in your muscles. To prevent this, you should keep yourself constantly hydrated with water. You should at least drink 8 glasses of water every day to keep yourself hydrated. You may need even more if you are exercising.
