One of the must-buys in San Diego is the San Diego Card as it allows free entry without waiting in line to fifty sights. Balboa Park has numerous museums, parks, gardens which tourists will enjoy. The park is filled with Spanish architecture, amazing gardens and a clock tower. The San Diego Zoo is also located in Balboa Park and is the best zoo in the country as it has creatures that no other zoo has, make sure to keep a full day to explore this. The Wild Animal Park, built over 1800 acres, is also here. Another sight to see is Sea World, home to Shamu, where you can meet and see many aquatic animals. La Jolla is an amazing place with coffee shops, shopping and beaches.

There are many adventure related activities that you can enjoy in San Diego on your next vacation as there are many beaches you can enjoy in San Diego, from Coronado to Ocean Beach and Mission Beach. Swimming is one of the most popular sports, obviously, as there are a lot of beaches and perfect beach conditions almost throughout the year. Mission Bay is an excellent location for windsurfing, jet skiing or sailing. You can go whale watching or sailing in Chula Vista or Point Loma too if you are interested in more interesting experiences on the water. There are also excellent dive locations like Yukon, Ruby E and Wreck Alley, and there are many operators with tours to the Coronado Islands as well. The Torrey Pines Glider Port at La Jolla is an excellent place for hang gliding, but you can also go hang gliding at the cliffs over the Pacific. Finally you can also go rock climbing, kayaking or hiking and biking while in San Diego.
