subject: How To Use Your Blackberry For Remote Internet Surveillance [print this page]

Even though there is no uniform definition of a smart phone it is generally conceded that is is more like a miniature computer with phone capability. The blackberry is perhaps the most famous of these high tech devices. Among other things they have internet capability.

Remote Internet surveillance is simply the ability to see what your camera hidden or not is seeing from anywhere in the world by logging into an IP address.

Remote internet surveillance has been next to impossible because of cost unless you were with the government or had lots of bucks. With advances in technology and great price competition this capability is available to just about anyone who wants it.

Do you want to see what is going on at your business from your home? Or keep an eye on your kids at home when you are on vacation? How about watching your vacation home that has had some problems with vandalism? Or any other situation where you need to see what is going on but just can't be there.

Here's How.

1.Get a Camera. An IP camera or hidden camera will work. IP cams connect directly to your computer eliminating the need for a separate recording device (DVR). If you want/need a hidden camera to watch the babysitter, your office or business there are plenty to choose from. Then you need a recording device with Internet capability.

2.Get a Recording Device. A DVR is the usual choice. The USB DVR is the least expensive but others can handle as many as 4 to 16 cameras. Make sure the DVR has internet connectivity.

3.Hook It Up. Get your IP address and access it thru your smart phone.

4.Watch It. As long as you have access to the internet from anywhere in the world, you can watch what your camera(s) are seeing from your blackberry, PDA or any device with internet connectivity.

When will you try this out?

A security camera can be an even better deterrent than a burglar alarm or a security guard. A camera can be used to identify the bad guys catching them red handed indoors or outdoors.

Security cameras used to be a luxury for homes and businesses. Now they have become a necessity.

Can you use a spy camera with remote internet surveillance for home, office or business? You actually can't afford to not have one! Find out what is going on when you are not there at home, your business or office from anywhere in the world.
