Struggling with permanent weight loss is a worldwide ordeal. It is likely you've tried several things to lose weight permanently, but may have been unsuccessful. On the other hand, perhaps you've experienced initial weight loss, but failed to keep it off. No matter the situation, there are truly simple steps that will allow you to enjoy permanent weight loss.

So... what to do first? Yes, it may be extremely confusing starting the right way since there are hundreds of programs that promise nothing but hype. These are just a few tips to help you melt pounds of your body.

End Your Relationship With Sugar

You've got to rid of your refined sugar fix... for example, chocolate, candy, pop, etc. Eating these sugars regularly are linked to many health complication in the future. Granted, dropping your sugar intake is easier said than done, but it is possible. When you crave sweets, drinks, etc., try substituting instead. For example, there are low to no sugar substitutes for drinks, ice cream, etc. This action alone will bring about dramatic results.

Drink Water

The old myth about drinking a lot of water being good for you isn't necessarily a myth. Drink at least 64 ounces of water, if not more (I suggest letting your physician know), and you will be stunned to see the results. Water also purifies your system.

Tip : Drinking ice cold water speeds up your metabolism and helps burn more calories since the body works harder to raise the temperature of the water. Think about it-- do you REALLY drink as much water as you should? Odds are you probably don't.

Portion, Portion, Portion

Your goal should be to eat many SMALLER meals throughout the day, rather than fewer LARGER meals. Breakfast is a must! So... eat breakfast, then a snack a short while later, lunch, then a snack after, dinner, then a snack if you would like as well. Ideally try to eat throughout the entire day. If you miss a meal, or are busy (which most of us are), it is okay to seek an occasional meal replacement of sort.

Sticking to these steps for a week will AMAZE you... I guarantee you'll start to feel better and look better as well. I truly wish you the best in reaching your weight loss goals!!
