Why do you think there are so many self-help books on the bookstore shelves? They serve as tools to build one up so they can go through battle when prospects ATTACK by telling them no or giving them gruff for building a business or selling a product. I agree, recruiting is a stressful thing! But if you want to be successful you must go through it.

There will never not be a need for thick skin in the recruiting game but time will heal and you will become numb to it eventually. It is a must in order to find new clients and customers. Occasionally you will find that your personality rubs someone the wrong way. But most of the time it has nothing to do with you.

Whatever you have to do to build your self image, whether it is with books or association, do so. The recruiting process is temporary and its something any successful person must go through!
