The Light House Beach is the largest beach of this place which is followed by the Hawah Beach and the Samudra Beach. Varkala:

Varkala is another most popular Kerala Beach famous round the world for its seaside resort, spa, Nature Care Center and the 2000-year old Sree Janardhana Swamy Temple. It is located 54 Km north off Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala and is popular among tourists who want quiet and isolated sandy expanse of sea during their vacations. The contrasting beauty of cliffs, sand and sea make Varkala Beach a panoramic destination where one can see the nature at its best. The view of sunset from this beach is truly breathtaking which also lures tourists in large number.

Cherai Beach:

It is one of the popular Kerala Beaches located 45 kilometers from Ernakulam city. This 5 km long beach has sea on the western side and the backwaters on the east which makes it a perfect destination where one can enjoy the charm of backwaters and beauty of sea simultaneously. This place is also known for its thick and dense coconut groves with some captivating Chinese fishing nets at the shore.

Some of the other known beaches of Kerala are Beypore, Shanghumukham, Alappuzha, Ezhimala, Fort Kochi, Bekal, Dharmadam Island and Kappad.
