Now we can go to the bed. This is going to be a funny situation since our bed is not attached to any surface due to the lack of gravity force. We are in the space and there is not an invisible force that makes our bed to remain stuck to any place. We need to stick to some surface some how. There is not also a floor or a ceiling properly said, we can define any surface as our floor and the opposite as the ceiling. Then we can attach the bed to the floor.
We still can not go to the bed, because like the bed is not attached by itself to some surface, we will not be laying over the bed unless we hold ourselves to it some how. We do not have the gravity force to support us on this task; we need to replace it with some device that helps us to keep us over to the bed. We can use blankets hold to the bed and we get into them in such a way that get stuck in the middle. We can also use cinches.
If we continue with our day to day activities in our space house we may find some plumbing fixture to fix. Before we go further describing how simple activities like having a shower or brushing our teeth are carried out, we can try to figure out how a simple task like fixing a plumbing fixture can be executed. Remember that we do not have the gravity force to help us to maintain tools where we put them. The water does not go down as in any pipeline over the earth. Actually, other than drinking, you will not use much water in your space house.
It is highly exciting to think about how our life would be living in a house located in the outer space. We are lucky to live in a time where this situation has become true. We can see, listen, read and learn from the experience that astronauts have when living in the Space Station. This is forefront information that is available for us to enhance our knowledge about the universe seen through our day to day activities.
