The Deal or No Deal game show started back in 2005 where it was first broadcasted by channel 4 on the 4th October 2005. Deal or No Deal is still going strong today and is still capturing the contestants, audience and the public.

The UK edition of Deal or No Deal is presented by Noel Edmonds who creates fantastic tension and suspense as the consistence makes their choice to make a Deal or No Deal with the banker.

Each show sees one contestant take on the banker in what only can be described as amerce tension, courage and risk. Deal or No Deal is played with 22 red boxes which are filled with different amounts of money. The amounts of money could be between 1p and 250,000. The contestant firstly needs to select one of the boxes of twenty two then in the subsequent round the other boxes are opened to reveal the amount of money which is inside them. The Deal or No Deal rounds are split up as follows:

Round 1 5 boxes are opened

Round 2 3 boxes are opened and then three boxes are opened in the remaining rounds of the Deal or No Deal Game Show

Between each round the banker will offer the contestant a sum of money in order to 'buy' the box off the contestant in the question Deal or No Deal. This offer is primarily dependent on the sums of money that are left and have not been eliminated by the contestant. So, the higher the sums of money still available, the higher the potential offer from the banker.

This is a game that offers a mixture of excitement and emotions. From the highs of elimination the 1p box to the lows of finding the 250k. A contestants game could be destroyed in a single round if they happen to find the box with a large amount of money in it.
