subject: Exam 70-680 Training Videos [print this page]

70-680 Exam is the new Microsoft MCTS exam for Configuring Windows 7 that builds towards the MCTS accreditations.

Ive been thinking of taking this exam for a little while and now there is whats shaping up to be an excellent series of training videos available from @Bibbleq. Hes an IT Admin and has started putting these videos together in his spare time to help out anyone looking at this exam so nuff respect for that.

Ive watched the 1st 2 videos that are available and theyre really good. Well presented, clear and Ive definitely picked up a thing or two, which is what its all about isnt it?! Im not sure how many will be in the series but Im confident that once youve seen them all, youll be in a position to pretty much go and take the exam straight away.

The first training course for the first certification offering for Microsoft's Windows 7 is now available.

Microsoft announced that Microsoft Official Course 6292, Installing and Configuring Windows 7, is ready for you to take (after paying, of course!)

It's a three-day, instructor-led course. Topics include upgrading to Windows 7; installation and migration issues; configuration parameters and more. The goal is to help you prep for 70-680 Exam, TS: Windows 7, Configuring.

With fewer than two weeks until Windows 7 is out, interest in the operating system is spiking. Given how poorly Windows Vista was received, I expect quick and broad adoption of Windows 7. Getting certified ASAP makes a lot of sense, and this training can serve as a springboard.

Ace your preparation for the skills measured by MCTS 70-680 Exam and on the job. Work at your own pace through a series of lessons and reviews that fully cover each exam objective. Then, reinforce and apply what youve learned through real-world case scenarios and practice exercises. This official Microsoft study guide is designed to help you make the most of your study time.
