subject: Nokia X6 Mobile Phone Review [print this page]

X6 is a full touch screen music phone launched by Nokia in the end of 2009. X6 has physical dimensions 111 x 51 x 13.8 mm and weighs around 122 grams. The device will fit nicely in your hand but its thickness might be an issue for people who expect a touch screen phone to be slimmer.

The display of the phone will impress most people if compared to other touch screen phones of Nokia. With a capacitive touch screen of 3.2 inches, the phone supports 360 x 640 resolution images. As the screen is sensitive, even a slight touch of a finger will open its features. This can become a disadvantage as it cannot be accessed while you wearing your gloves. The physical features of the phone are same as those of any other Xpress music phone. All of them are made of plastic. The non-metallic frame continues with this model too.

Just like Xpress Music 5800, Nokia X6 works on Symbian platform v5. With excellent quality optics from Carl Zeiss, it has a Camera of 5MP and 2592x1944 pixel resolution. The geo tagging is also available with the camera and images produced are of good quality. The videos captured are of 30 frames per second. The quality of videos is also worth admiring and its resolution is 640 x 352 pixels.

A lot of connectivity tools can be used with the phone such as micro USB, Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP, Wi-Fi, EDGE, 3G and GPRS. With 128 MB RAM, Nokia X6 consists of internal memory of 32GB.

At last talking about the battery backup, Nokia X6 has an impressive battery life with a standby time of 420 hrs and 450 hrs in 2G and 3G networks respectively and a talk time of 11.5 hrs for 2G and 6 hrs for 3G networks.
