subject: Women In Network Marketing-- Business Paradigm Is Changing Fast! [print this page] A revolution is going onA revolution is going on. It is more subtle than previous overthrows but just as lively as what we saw in the '60's.
The revolutionary change pertains to information dissemination, urged forward by today's advancing technology. The basic premise is that selling information is just as powerful and even desirable as peddling good was in the past.
A good example of the change in motion is Frito Lay. As strong contenders in the snack market, they clearly 'get' how to establish an information ladder that enhances product delivery.
As with any revolution, sideline naysayers abound. Publishing information about how to disseminate information is called a "scam." If that's the truth, then Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and even Google are the ultimate scammers--chuckling all the way to the bank!
Information breeds more information. A business start can power up just by teaching or passing quality information to the right target audience. It has worked for charities and in politics. Obama certainly proved that in his presidential campaign.
Marketing follows the same ideas.
Sure, information overload can happen. It was pretty much inevitable in the techno-age.
Think about it: if you collect, organize and present quality content to those who need the information, you can become indispensable.
Investors trade on the basis of that kind of information. Users buy based on informative reviews.
Women in network marketing are presented with a unique business opportunity if they are savvy enough to recognize the potential of delivering quality information and content.
Society has expected its young girls to meet a multitude of expectations and performance standards. Bringing home the bacon and cooking it up are tasks women handle regularly.
Women can organize; they have to. That talent can support the start of a network marketing business if applied properly.
A 'trending' business woman must have these abilities:
1) Know to whom you are speaking. Build relationships that are not based on hype. Give true vale. Make sure your comp plan is not premised on only recruiting other but giving quality service and delivering quality products too.
View quality as 'permanent insurance." If you put in the sweat equity, you will have staying power.
2) Get a grip on how social networking works. It does not mean tea parties or ill considered conversation. Social networking is the basis for being seen by those you want to see you and hear your message. It has replaced the old system of verbal referrals to large extent.
Blogs, chat rooms, tweets and Facebook entries are your friends. Women understand this naturally. You must build a relationship before trying to sell.
3). Homework is important. Know your product/service thoroughly. Know your competition, its strengths and weaknesses but never 'diss' them. Your own superior services/products will speak for themselves, building on your established credibility with your audience.
Accentuate the positive. Eliminate the negative.
Women who appreciate how the new trends are activating and join the game have everything to gain. Women can be strong contenders in a new business revolution!
