What is natural health and why should you care? If you want to keep putting poisons into your body, and feeling terrible, then there is no reason for you to care.

I was not interested in how my body functioned, or what type of food I should be eating. My mom liked to bake, so my eating habits were not the best, in fact I never had a piece of whole wheat bread until I was 25 years old.

I was fortunate that my parents did not drink or smoke, so nether did I. I did learn early in life to drink Pepsi, and if I would have known back then what it was doing to my body, maybe I would not have had so many. At a young age, who thinks about what their life will be at 60. Old age probably would be easier for most people if they realized what they were doing to their bodies with some of the choices they were making early in life.

Playing sports, I always had some minor hurts, but they become magnified with age. Arthritis is something that most people have to some degree when they get to a certain age, and the sad thing is that a lot of it could have been prevented with better choices.

Everyone has heard to drink more water, but how many people actually do it? Usually, only fitness fanatics. The human body cannot live long without water. I liked pop, and it tasted good, but it put lots of impurities into my body.

Most people in the world are not drinking enough clean water to have their bodies function efficiently. Think of your car when it needs a tune up, your body might need a tune up. The interesting thing is that it is such a simple remedy. Just start drinking water throughout the day, and you will feel better, but you will also have more energy.

When you were told to eat your vegetables, did you say, why. Since heating food above 116 degrees destroys most of the nutrients, and most people do not eat enough raw vegetables, it is no wonder we live in a sick society.

I am not good at eating vegetables, but I have found that it is very easy to juice. With juicing, the combinations of fruits and vegetables can be such that you can find a taste that you can drink. The benefit of juicing is with raw foods, you sre getting all of the live nutrients. If you really want to be healthy, then do juicing, especially greens. You can get all of the nutrients you need in wheatgrass.

I was a professional golfer, and a house builder, so I have always had a high level of physical activity. I do not know what it is like to be a couch potato. I enjoy walking, so I do not always take a car. To have a healthy life, you need some form of exercise to stimulate your heart. To grow old gracefully, and remain healthy, find take up walking.

Life is difficult most of the time, but if you can find a goal, a reason to live, and then think positive thoughts, speak only good things, and surround yourself with happy positive people, life will be so much more enjoyable.

Now that I am older I am interested in feeling better, and in being in better health. If you never start taking prescription drugs, your body will love you forever. Once I was diagnosesd with high blood pressure, but I decided on natural means rather than the prescriptions of the doctor. I am glad that I did.
