subject: 2 Simple Tips To Eat Healthy And Lose Weight Without Breaking The Bank [print this page]

If you head to the grocery store, they've probably got a "health food" section. This is where all the organic products are located. The only problem? It's all way overpriced! These organic foods are usually 3 to 4 times the price of the other food in the grocery store. So how can you eat healthy without going broke?

The first thing you need to think about is what you're eating. Will organic milk help you lose fat faster than normal milk? Probably not. But organic fruits and meat is much better for you than traditional store bought "factory grown" products.

Simple Tip #1

Start doing some research and figure out what foods are worth buying organic from the store. You'll find that a lot of foods, even though they say organic, are not much different than their normal counterparts. I've found that things like bread and pasta just isn't worth buying organic. Figuring out what is and isn't worth can save you a lot of money on your grocery store bill.

Simple Tip #2

Once you find out which foods are much better to buy organic, start looking for local farmer's markets in your area that are actively selling natural fruits, veggies, and meat.

Many times there will be a group of farmers in the area that are committed to growing fresh food that tastes better and is much healthier. In an effort to get it into the community and make a living they will sell their products at the local farmer's market. These are usually like an open grocery store that only sells fresh food that is naturally organic and much cheaper than the foods at the grocery store that are labeled organic.
