This year I have decided to buy a portable dryer as space is limited in my home and I find that my clothes are taking far too long to dry hanging over the radiators. In fact I find it embarrassing when friends pop by for a visit, and my laundry is everywhere. I am a very tidy person but having laundry drying everywhere does not give the impression of someone who is house proud. This is not the impression I like to give my guests and I find myself busily running around grabbing everything and throwing it in a basket just to have to re-hang it when my guests leave.
As I began to search for the perfect portable dryer I was pleasantly surprised to find they were easy to find and very cost effective. I had considered buying a traditional tumble dryer however the cost of electricity to operate it would have affected my budget along with the purchase price of the tumble fryer itself. The portable dryer seemed to fit all my needs as it was an item I could use both indoors as well as outdoors and would be able to move it indoors easily should a sudden shower occur.
I also discovered that the dryer was very compact. Although it provides plenty of drying space it is still small enough to use indoors and put away when not in use. It folds down easily to store so when I don't need it I am able to put it away without any trouble. It is the perfect size to keep in my bedroom and this makes me happy as it would be a good location away from view of anyone visiting removing the mess of laundry out of sight from guests. I also thought that by having it in my room it would also make it easier and quicker to put clothing away as I have easy access to my wardrobe and chest of drawers. I also keep my ironing board and iron in my room so it is the perfect location.
I am really looking forward to my new portable dryer arriving. No more watching the weather and hoping for the perfect day to dry laundry. No more clothes littering the hallways and filling every radiator. I think this purchase will be one that I wish I had made years ago. The portable dryer is the ideal item for any home and I would definitely recommend people getting one.
