Going along those lines, focusing on beneficial motivations can help motivate you to accomplish any task that you have put in your mind.

Naturally, we can't all be positive all the time. So how do you improve your own outlook? Well, to begin with, try listing out all of the beneficial effects that will be derived from succeeding in your quest to quit smoking. There are so many; they include the amount of money you save and the fact that you will probably no longer die a horrible painful death from lung cancer or emphysema.

Consider your health. Your health will not be hurt when you are no longer sucking down those sulfur fumes and cyanide gases. It's true. Those things are bad for you. Also consider that you won't smell like a demented hobo all the time. That's great!

In fact, your entire life may improve once you have quitted smoking. You may be able to get the girl, demand that raise and, who knows, even be elected president. There are so many benefits of quitting smoking, you should just go out and do that thing right this very instant!
