I have recently completed a medical sales training course offered through NAMSR (National Association of Sales Representatives) and am now a certified Registered Medical Sales Representative. I am pursuing a medical transcriptionist designation to continue to add to my knowledge and understanding of all aspects of medical terminology as this is the foundation upon which I will build a successful healthcare career. I am confident that Future MTs comprehensive program including the anatomy, disease, surgical techniques, medical imaging, and diagnostic testing and treatments along with the practical application course design will prepare me for the real world environment. I am currently enrolled in Kaplan Universitys online degree program to obtain a Masters of Health Care Administration. The ability for me to work from home and set my own hours will allow me to earn income while completing this degree. Being able to do this while gaining valuable skills in my desired field is a winning combination. I am also a volunteer at a local hospital and will be dedicating 4-8 hours per week in this capacity. I enjoy this as I am able to receive hospital protocol experience while giving back to my community. Once again, being able to balance my time will be extremely helpful in ensuring my success.
