subject: Woman Accused Of Stealing Electricity [print this page] A Moultrie police officer was called to a house on Joe Louis Avenue at 11:24 a.m. Monday about possible meter tampering. The officer met with employees with the City of Moultrie, and they stated Williams allegedly had been receiving power to her house without paying for it.
One of the employees stated he found a meter lock had been cut and was removed from the houses electric meter. An anonymous person contacted the city about the alleged incident, accusing Williams of switching meters and getting power without paying for it. No reading was displayed on the meter when it was pulled.
The officer met with Williams, who allegedly stated she had lived at the house about a month and already had power when she moved in. She was placed under arrest on the charge then issued a subpoena to appear in court on the charge.
Jeramie Blaine Eubanks, 18, of 243 Rufus Murphy Road, was charged Tuesday with disorderly conduct.
Sheriffs Office
Misty Dawn Perkins, 18, of 2105 West Blvd., was charged Monday with two counts of financial transaction card fraud.
Dillion Luke Singletary, 17, of 5510 Highway 133 N. in Doerun, was charged Monday with disorderly conduct and illegal possession of alcohol.
Triston Dewayne Kersh, 36, of 1172 Howell Road in Doerun, was charged Thursday with theft by receiving stolen property.
Georgia State Patrol
Matthew Jackson Lindsey, 17, of 3141 Norman Park-Ellenton Road in Norman Park, was charged Sunday with a seatbelt violation, failure to maintain lane, DUI, illegal possession of alcohol and an open container violation.
Bryan Scott Todd, 18, of 227 Dogwood Lane in Albany, was charged Monday with DUI, failure to maintain lane, defective equipment, no proof of insurance, affixing a plate to conceal identity and a license permit violation.

Kamaree Anderson reported someone damaged a passenger window of his Chevrolet Tahoe while it was parked at Regency Inn on First Avenue Southeast Monday. Damage was estimated at $150.
An employee at the Trading Post on First Avenue Southeast reported Monday a known female customer purchased a Dell laptop computer on loan but had stopped making payments on it. The amount owed on the computer was $1,440.
An employee at the Trading Post on First Avenue Southeast reported Monday a known female customer had not made payments on furniture that had been purchased. The amount owed on the furniture was $2,400.
Johnnie Wilson, of Ninth Street Southwest, reported a thief stole a mans wedding band, a womans ring, eight rings, a Sony PSP and change and pawned them between March 12 and Friday. The value of the stolen items was $1,320. Wilson gave officers the name of a male suspect.
An employee at Plantation P&P on North Main Street reported someone hit the hood of a Ford F-250 work truck with a brick Friday.
An employee at Express Lane on South Main Street reported someone came into the store Friday wanting to exchange small bills for larger ones, distracting her and changing bills as she counted it. A second person came in Saturday and also exchanged small bills for larger ones, doing similar actions, and bought lottery tickets. The total amount missing during the exchanges was $492.
Sheriffs Office
An employee at Antonios Used Cars on Cool Springs Road in Norman Park reported someone attempted to kick open the office door, damaging the door, the lock and latch, between 3 p.m. Sunday and 9:15 a.m. Monday. Damage was about $110.
Fermin Palomares, of Las Vegas Lane, reported a thief stole his Ford F-250 truck between 6 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday. The value of the stolen truck was $1,500.
