In July 2009, Hurts featured as "Band of the Day" on Guardian.co.uk. Hurts finished in fourth position in the BBC Sound of 2010 poll. Hurts' song "Wonderful Life" was notably remixed by Arthur Baker. In early 2010 Hurts officially released their Debut single and played their first ever live shows.
