To find out how you can create and add a signature follow these simple steps:
Step 1
Begin by opening up Windows Mail and from the tool-bar select Tools and the Options. When you select Options an information box will appear on the screen. You will notice a list of tab buttons running along the task bar. Select the tab named Signatures.

In the Signatures tab there will be 3 buttons on the right hand side named New , Remove and Rename. As you want to create a new signature click on the New button. You can enter the text that you want associated with your signature.

From the Signature Settings tick the check box relating to Add Signatures to All Out Going Messages. By ticking this box your signature will appear in every e-mail that you send out. If you prefer to include your signature on selected e-mails then tick the check box related to the command Dont Add Signatures to Replies and Forwards. With this option you will have to add a signature manually. When you have ticked the box also check that the signature is set as the default. Click the OK button to save the changes.
Step 4
If you prefer the option of not having your signature appear automatically on each email you can do it automatically. To do this select Insert then Signature. From the list that appears choose a signature and it will automatically be inserted into your email.
It is prudent to think about the amount of information that you want to include. You need to be selective as you may not want everybody to see personal and contact information such as your home address. Therefore, it is advisable that you limit the amount of information that you add to your signature.
