subject: Liquid Vitamins Cannot Compromise On Their Intake [print this page]

Our bodies require vitamins and minerals in the right quantities to function properly. Though these amounts will vary with age, it is a fact that unless this requirement is met on a daily basis, we can suffer from various kinds of problems relating to infections and our immune system will also take a beating.

Over the years, due to urbanisation and the need to improve yields, many of the countries and their farmers have resorted to spraying a lot of chemicals and other yield enhancing products on the crops, vegetables and fruits. This has led to these getting adulterated and they have lost their potency and power of providing the vitamins and minerals they possess. The result is that we are getting very few natural vitamins and minerals from the fruits, vegetables and crops and are therefore becoming susceptible to infections and other problems.

On one hand we are not getting the required dosage as well as the purity of stuff and on the other hand, we are exposing ourselves to a lot of infection and pollution due to our lifestyles and improper eating habits. This is a double problem that can only be solved through the ingestion of vitamins preferably in liquid form rather than taking pills.

The reason is that liquid vitamins can get easily absorbed into the body system unlike solids and their assimilation percentage is in the high nineties. This means that the body is able to get the nutrients from these vitamins and minerals in a larger quantity and that results in lesser wastage. Moreover, due to better assimilation directly into the bloodstream, the body is also able to realise the benefits much faster as opposed to pills.

Liquid vitamins do not contain any artificial filler or preservatives and that is again good for the body which is already suffering from a lot of abuse of this nature. It will welcome something natural and take it quickly and in a better manner. Pills on the other hand have to be broken down before they can be absorbed and that not only takes time but the result is also not very encouraging.

Many people end up missing their regular dosage due to the fact that they have to take these solid pills and may find difficulty swallowing or digesting it. Liquid vitamins are tasty, easy to ingest and that is why the regularity of dosage is far better amongst seniors and young children.

The artificial colours and preservatives added in vitamin pills render them ineffective and that is why taking liquid vitamin supplements have been found to be more useful. Ultimately it is an individual decision, but once you start taking liquid vitamins, you will find the advantages yourself.
