Boston Vacations Independence Day Celebrations

Independence Day will remind you that Boston is where it all took place. Let us tell you how it all starts in this lovely city; on the 3rd of July, the Boston Pops Orchestra starts their concert at 8: 30 PM while the Oval is open to the public starting at 4 PM. By wearing participant wristbands, an estimated 400,000 to 700,000 participants enter the huge Oval and celebrate the lovely day of Independence. The Esplanade is a lovely center where you can enjoy an alcohol free family night with your near and dear ones making BBQ and enjoying the crazy and dazzling fireworks in the sky. Before the 4th of July, Boston starts a 6-day Harborfest Fourth of July Festival that leads up to the grand event of the Independence Day with amazing fireworks over the Charles River. Do not forget to bring your camera and dont forget to smile at the State Troopers; they will be present for your safety at different points on horseback, motorcycles and boats.

Take your Kids: Boston Childrens Museum

Boston Childrens Museum is a place you must take your children to if you are visiting Boston. The Museum has a 90 year old history of designing interactive and educational exhibits for children making it a worldwide leader in this arena. The exhibits cover different areas such as science, culture, environmental awareness, health and fitness, and the arts. Part of the Global Gallery is the exhibition called Curious George: Lets Get Curious! which gives children a chance to explore different locations from the popular fictional series and learn about math, science and engineering as they explore the happenings in those locations and take part in interactive games. Another example is the Green Trail which educates children about the green initiatives taken at the museum through visual aids and games. The list of such interesting activities and exhibitions is endless and you must take your kids to enhance their learning experience and have a fun time at the same place.
