The two technologies offer different ways to light the screens so with the way the plasma is lit moving images are much clearer and you want to know this as you make your decision. Of course the price range is going to dictate some part of the choice but keep in mind what you are using the television for. If you are buying one for the kitchen or a bedroom youmay wan to go for the LCD which has the cheaper price and is a good product.
