I'm sure that you have seen plenty of different online guitar training programs out there. You may have often asked yourself if these programs are really worth it. I wanted to outline some of the significant differences between online guitar training programs versus tradition lessons. Then we can let YOU be the judge!

Number One - Convenience

Online guitar training definitely tops traditional lessons as I see it for convenience. Back when I started learning the guitar, I went two days a week to a private instructor. I had to arrange a ride to and from the lesson (I was not old enough to drive myself!) and make sure that I had nothing else planned during that time. It started becoming a drag for me to pack up my guitar and drive 25 minutes each way to my instructor's house. So I would spend close to an hour in the car for a 30 minute lesson. Talk about an inconvenience!

Number Two - How Easy it Was to Learn

The biggest problem that I had when learning the guitar was trying to absorb all of the information during my lessons. I mean I only had a half an hour and wanted to make the most of it, but it was really difficult to remember everything that I was taught. Now with an online guitar training program, the information WILL ALWAYS be there! If you wanted to re-visit something, you simply login and off you go. If I forgot something during my lessons, I would have to wait until my next lesson AND pay for it! Advantage - online guitar training!

Number Three - COST!

This is by far the biggest upside to learning the guitar online. Normal guitar lessons through a private instructor are going to run you around $20 - $25 per half-hour block. So if you go just once a week, you're looking at spending $100 per month. While that may seem reasonable, how much do you suppose you are going to learn in just two hours of lessons?? You can find a great online program that will run around $60 or so and the lessons are comparable to around 12-15 hours of private lessons! That is a HUGE difference!

So I think you can see where I am going here. Traditional guitar lessons cannot hold a candle to online guitar training. You are getting more for less, it is easier to use, and you can use it at any time of day or night. It's pretty much impossible to go wrong with online guitar training!About the Author:
