Most of the people who daily eat breakfast, usually consume buns, toasts, scones, pastry or other dishes made out of dough. Scones are a traditional English dish so it won't be so easy for you to find a good recipe which will teach you to create marvelous scones. You must search very deeply in order to find a good recipe. However you are lucky, because in this feature we shall teach you to cook one of the tastiest and oldest scone recipes.

As always you will need a number of ingredients, but they aren't anything special. 170 grams of butter, 3 eggs, 3 spoons of baking powder, 56g of sugar and 450g of milk. However it won't be fatal if you mistake the sugar dosage by a little bit, because you will just make the scones sweeter.

Firstly sift the 900g of flour into a big bowl. Then again add three tea spoons of the baking powder, but sift them into the bowl. Add the 170g of butter to the than start deforming the butter with your hands until you create a glance texture and a homogenic mixture.

Create a crater inside the center of the bowl. Take a medium large bowl and put the eggs into it, start mashing them until you receive a homogenic mixture. Then add the milk to the eggs and again start to mix. Then carefully and slowly pour the received mixture into the crater. When you have poured about of it start mashing the composed dough with your hands. Keep mashing until the dough becomes one entire part. Dust the working board with some of the flour so nothing will be able to stick to it. Take out the dough from the bowl and put it onto the flour on the working desk and start mashing it again so that you can make it more elastic. Grab a rolling pin and also dust it with flour.

Roll the mixture so that it becomes thinner and bigger. Afterwards take a cutter and stamp out the scones. Arrange the scones into a large baking tin and then use the leftover mixture of milk and eggs to cream their upper part so that they have a golden shine. Put them into the oven for about 15 minutes, but it is possible that they can bake earlier. So watch them from time to time and when they reach a golden brown color you should take them out.

The best taste of scones is achieved when they are combined with jam. However you can try different extras with which to consume the scones or you can even eat them without anything extra.
