With any network marketing business it's all about generating leads, without leads flowing into your business on a daily basis you have no business. This is very important. Most people usually start a business or they join a business opportunity never once thinking about who they are going to market to.

Qualify Your Prospects

Find out what is painful to your prospect, why are they struggling?, what are they having trouble with?, What will take away the pain? What will give them pleasure? What problem are they trying to solve?

Craft Your Message

This comes down to copywriting and persuasion. To be truly persuasive you have to be able to appeal to someones emotions. Don't get me wrong you can still be generating leads with boring copy but with emotional marketing your conversions will be much higher.

Ok, so that last one is a little hypey but ask yourself this, which headline would you respond to?

One last thing on the subject copy, only make claims that are true and can be verified.

Keep Your Sales Message Simple

Keep your words as simple as you possibly can, your prospects won't want to build a relationship with someone that gives them a lecture that is too much pain, they're on your page to alleviate their pain or attain pleasure.

Don't focus too much on your own product your prospect already has an idea of what he/she wants and knows that you have what they need.

It's all about your prospect and not you.

Value Exchange

When your prospect visits your site and they're willing to give up information it is almost always in exchange for something you're offering them that is valuable to them.

It's usually best practice to offer something for free but it must be high value e.g. the first chapter of your ebook, a piece of software, a free report, an interview with someone famous etc.

I'm sure you get the picture now. Whatever it is you offer as an incentive or 'bait' as it's called in this industry you have to make sure it relates or complements your offer perfectly.

After you have your leads you can go on to build a relationship with them. Most won't buy straight away but some will stick around and eventually become loyal customers.
