The Nahanni National Park Reserve is located in Canada and gets its name from the Nahanni River which runs through it. This beautiful waterway makes its way through the Canadian terrain until it empties in the Virginia Falls. Two times the height of Niagara Falls, you can only imagine the breathtaking view that is available to the visitor of this park. Also available for exploration at the Nahanni National Park Reserve are sulfur hot springs and tufa mounds thought to be over 10,000 years old and reaching approximately 100 feet into the sky. Exploring some of the open spaces and mountain caverns attract adventure seekers from all over the continent.

One of the most unusual National Parks you will ever visit is the Dinosaur Provincial Park and is laden with dinosaur fossils. The visitor can view a selection from over five hundred excavated fossils some of which have been sent for display in museums all over the world. As we look back to the days when dinosaurs roamed the earth, this national park has made a huge contribution to the world's education and enlightenment on this subject.

L'Anse aux Meadows is a site that holds deep connections to Canada's past. As the only known site of a Norse village in North America, this location has allowed us to unravel some of the mystery surrounding our first visitors. As explorers of North America way before Christopher Columbus' time, these Norse visitors left their mark on Newfoundland, and that mark is still visible today.
