In few other places on the planet are such contrasts found between happening cosmopolitan centers and amazing natural landscapes. This could not be any true than of the Pacific Northwest. A region worthy of a visit at some point in one's life, the Pacific Northwest is a place where even small cities are at the forefront of the 'green movement,' and new technologies. Of course a city like Seattle with it music scene and cultural centers is expected to be up there, but smaller cities like Bellingham in Washington and even Portland, although far more well known, in Oregon are keeping up without much trouble. By offering new options to internet and media users, basically everyone in the region, such cities as Bellingham and Portland are drawing more and more transplants each and every day.
