subject: Nokia E75 Mobile Phone Review [print this page]

Targeted at business users, the Nokia E75 is part of the Nokia E series. It is very similar to the previous E71 model from Nokia, but sets itself apart with a newly featured sliding QWERTY keypad. This keypad facilitates faster interface interaction. It is based on the Symbian S60 v3.2 platform.

E75 has a metal back with smooth finish which looks elegant. The front side of this phone may not look as impressive as the back. This is because its front side has plastic buttons made of cheap looking material. The QWERTY keypad which comes out sliding from the side is chrome plated. The display of E75 is 2.4 inch large and has D pad just below it with a white LED surrounding it.

The phone has Bluetooth, Infra Red, Wi-Fi, 3G (with HSDPA) and mini USB modes to connect the phone with other interfaces. Connectivity is certainly not an issue when it comes to the Nokia E75. The phone comes with an inbuilt web browser that has flash support. Presentations become simpler and smarter with the features of the Nokia E75. Such features mark its good performance as a business phone.

Being a business phone it has everything you need in terms of connectivity ranging from Infrared, mini USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth to 3G (with HSDPA). The phone is made with a motive of quick and reliable data transfer. The web browser of E75 is quick and also has inbuilt flash.

Being a business phone E75 was supposed to have exceptionally good call quality but again it failed to our expectations. The call quality is ok but not what you may expect from a business class phone of this range. To sum up we will like to say that Nokia should reconsider its price seeing the performance of the phone.
